Member companies
Membership in the Swedish Investment Fund Association is a mark of quality. For example, it means that the member company’s fund management activities have received authorisation from Sweden’s Finansinspektion or from the Financial Supervisory Authority in the home country. Furthermore all our members shall adhere to our published guidelines and recommendations. The Association also accepts foreign registered fund managment companies as full members provided they fulfil the requirements set out in the Associations Bye-laws.
Members of the Association have:
- the opportunity to share the Association’s experience in fund related legal matters, marketing of investment funds and training,
- access to the network of international contacts provided by virtue of the Association’s membership of EFAMA – The European Fund and Asset Management Association,
- the ability to influence self-regulation of the industry, to participate in expert groups and initiate industry-wide questions that can be taken up by the Association,
- access to the market analyses and studies carried out by the Association as well as day-to-day information on topics of current interest.
