Information on processing personal data
The Swedish Personal Data Act (PUL) came into force in full as of 1st October 2001. The aim of the legislation is to protect private individuals against infringements of their personal integrity in conjunction with the processing of personal data. Notifying the individuals to whom the data relates of the processing carried out is an important aspect of this protection.
The Swedish Investment Fund Association, hereinafter referred to as the Association, processes personal data in conjunction with the administration and fulfilment of agreements entered into and measures requested by you, both before and after entering into agreements.
Development of our website
The Association also collects information on the ways in which our website is used, known as visitor statistics. Such statistics may include the number of visits, the URLs, domains and IP addresses from which the visits occur, e.g. www.telia.se, the times of day at which the website is most commonly visited, and the parts of the site most commonly visited, etc. The Association can then use this information to see which parts of its site can be improved.
Information on personal data
If you would like to know the nature of the personal data on you that is processed by the Association, and potentially request corrections to it, you can do so by sending a written request to the Association at: Fondbolagens Förenings Personuppgiftsombud, Stureplan 6, SE-114 35 Stockholm, Sweden. Please remember that it must be signed, in person, by you.
Ordering material
When you order material through our website, you only need to enter your name and address. Once your request has been processed, the automatic order will be destroyed, along with the data you have provided. The Swedish Investment Fund Association does not forward information on orders placed to third parties.
Cookies
A so-called session cookie will be temporarily stored in your computer’s memory whilst you are browsing the Association’s website, e.g. to keep track of the language option you have chosen. Session cookies are not, however, stored long-term on your computer and will disappear when you close your web browser. If you do not want to allow cookies to be stored on your computer, you can turn off this setting on your web browser. This will prevent any cookies from being stored, but there is then a risk that the website will no longer function correctly.
Limitation of liability
The material on the Association’s website is presented for information purposes and is not intended to constitute legal, financial or other advice. The Swedish Investment Fund Association cannot be held liable for investment decisions based on the material on the website, or for direct or indirect damage that may occur as a result of the use of information taken from this website. Please note that the information on the Association’s website may be amended, without specific notification thereof, on the said pages or elsewhere.
Copyright
All material presented by the Swedish Investment Fund Association on the Internet is protected by the Swedish Act on Copyright in Literary and Artistic Works. This means, inter alia, that the prior consent of the author is required for any reproduction of the material.
Links
The Swedish Investment Fund Association permits navigation links, i.e. links that transfer the reader to the homepage of the Association’s website. Integrated links, i.e. links that retrieve and display or present material are not permitted. The Swedish Investment Fund Association is, under no circumstances whatsoever, responsible for links to external websites or for the contents or functionality of external websites.
