- A market index shows performance in a given market, e.g. the Stockholm Stock Exchange. See below for daily updates to four market indices. The data is drawn from SIX Financial Information, based on the prices set every weekday at 17.30 (CET).
- A fund index shows the average return for funds with similar investment orientations. The fund index is a tool for evaluating how a fund has performed, or for understanding and evaluating the performance by a group of funds with a given investment orientation. Search fund indices on Morningstar’s website.
Comparing a fund’s performance with an index enables an understanding of how well the fund has performed over a given period of time.
